It’s Monday, and you just realised that your rent and supplier payments are due by the end of the week. Now you have to make your payments by bank transfer, or even make some time to squeeze a trip down to the bank to pay by cheque. What a hassle – and you don’t even earn rewards and points from these payments.
This hassle and inconvenience is exactly what CardUp aims to solve: we allow you to get instant access to interest-free credit that allows you to make credit card payments to your recipients anytime, anywhere – even if your recipients do not accept credit cards!
Improved payment speeds
Today, we’re excited to announce that our product has been improved even further, allowing you to set up your payments just 3 business days ahead of your due date:
CardUp will now process your payments in just 3 business days from the time your credit card is charged. We have improved our payment speeds, and you are now able to set up your payments up to 3 business days before your due date, instead of 5 business days.
With this latest improvement, you can now set up a payment on Monday and your recipient will receive it on Thursday in the same week, at no additional charges on top of the existing CardUp fee. There is also no additional action required from your end!
For your urgent payments: Next Day payments
We are also introducing a Next Day option for all your urgent payments. This allows you to set up a payment just 1 business day before your payment due date. Simply select the ‘Next day’ option under Payment Speed when setting up your payment. This service will be available at a 0.3% fee of your total payment amount, on top of your regular CardUp fee.
Don’t forget, you can also set up recurring payments on CardUp and never have to deal with missed or late monthly or annual payments. Check out our FAQ page about recurring payments here.
